As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

SOURCE OF LIGHT

God is the father of light and He is light . This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 1John1:5

“YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD_LIKE A CITY ON A HILLTOP THAT CANNOT BE HIDDEN. NO ONE LIGHTS A LAMP AND THEN PUTS IT UNDER A BASKET. INSTEAD, A LAMP IS PLACED ON A STAND, WHERE IT GIVES LIGHT TO EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE.

THE BENEFIT OF GOD’S LIGHT

Light add value: The light of God takes away sorrows, emptiness, darkness, negativity and sadness. The light of God brings peace, beautification and joy. God’s light add value to you life and gives your life a meaning. I thought, “Wisdom is better than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness. Ecclesiastes 2:13

God’s light gives guidance. The light of God directs and advise you on the path of life to walk in, this include, your occupation, marriage, business, relationship and daily life affairs. When there is light, you do not wander astray, because the light is to guild you in all aspects of life. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 NLT

Protection: When you are born again, you receive the light of God in you. This light protects you from the darkness, danger and harm. The light is your security and meditating on the word of God, you become aware of your inheritance in Christ.

The Lord is my light and my salvation—
    so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
    so why should I tremble? Psalms 27:1 NLT

HOW TO HAVE GOD’S LIGHT IN YOU.

You can have the light of God in you through Salvation. Salvation is being saved, rescued and delivered from sin, darkness and its consequences to become one with God. This is only possible if you willingly allow God’s light to fill your heart by surrendering your life to God. Irrespective of your age, race, location, stage and situations you are currently experiencing in life, God is ever ready to be your LIGHT, if only you allow Him. Only by saying YES to God. ²⁸ Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”Matthew11:28-30.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

“O Lord God, I believe with all my Heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the Dead. I believe He is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”

BE THE EXPRESSION OF GOD,S LIGHT TO THE WORLD

Congratulation, now that you are born again, I urge you to create out time to study the Bible(God’s Word) personally, attend a Church and communicate often with your heaven Father through prayers. You are the LIGHT OF THE WORLD and express His light to the World always.

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 AMP.
